NEW LOGO AND GUIDELINES FOR PROMOTING
IMPORTANT BIRD AREAS
OTTAWA
(December 1, 2005) – BirdLife International has released a new Important Bird Areas logo and usage guidelines. If you are interested in erecting a sign or commemorative plaque to mark the location of an IBA, or wish to promote an IBA site in brochures or other media, you must use the approved IBA logo. High resolution versions of the logo, in both English and French, are available by contacting Bird Studies Canada or Nature Canada. In addition, we would be pleased to provide advice on logo size and placement, and associated text.
