2002-2003 Comunity Action Fund Summaries   EDUCATIONAL AND MONITORING PROGRAM FOR IMPORTANT BIRD AREAS IN CAPE BRETON, NOVA SCOTIA Atlantic Coast Action Program There are three Important Bird Areas within the Cape Breton Regional Municipality: Big Glace Lake, North Head & South Head and Scaterie Island. The Atlantic Coastal Action Program is implementing a monitoring program for all three of the sites. To do this they will be involving the public to provide up-to-date information on the sites. This information will also be used in their education campaign. back
