BirdLife
International's Americas Division works
with its partners to assist in the implementation
of the IBA program through coordination, training,
information sharing, capacity development, and
securing resources. BirdLife Americas is comprised
of three basic units: The Regional Committee
of the Americas (CRA) drawn from the partnership;
The Americas Division of the BirdLife International
Secretariat; and the Partners. The Americas
partnership is a growing network of nationally
based conservation organizations from North,
South, Central America and the Caribbean. At
present the two Canadian partners of BirdLife,
Nature Canada and BSC, are implementing three projects
in the Americas with three BirdLife partners
in Mexico, Panama, and Paraguay.
